GEMMA TAMARA PALMER

Inspired by natural subject matter such as the individual twists and detail upon leaves, vines and seed heads. I produce comtemporary jewellery such as necklaces, earrings, rings, tiaras, brooches and bangles. Colour and texture is very important to me and I enjoy working upon a small delicate scale. I work with materials such as 9ct Gold, Silver with elements of brass and copper, incorporating freshwater Biwa pearls, semi-precious stones and Swarovski crystals within my work. For this latest collection, I have also melted glass beads to achieve different colour effects and natural organic shapes like that of droplets in nature.

I have a clear personal identity to my work, which is my intricate use of precious and light metals and great attention to the smallest details.
My jewellery has a very organic appearance mimicking elements of nature, and transforming them into wearable pieces of art to be enjoyed and admired.
